This is Lulu, when she was a baby, she escaped at night from her mom and got in with the big hens. When we came in the morning and discovered her missing, we found her in the corner, bloody. We thought we had lost her, but she’s still here, and she is a sweetheart. I wanted to share her story, she was very little when that happened.
She is one years old, and is my alpha hen. Unfortunately I don’t know her breed, she is a barnyard mix from a broody!

This is Goldie! She is a 14 week old black sex link I hatch back in April. She has crooked toes since she got a little to big for her egg. We were worried that she would have trouble roosting and keeping up with the rest of the flock but 4 of her toes straightened out on their own and she is doing well!
