I've had problems with this in the past, the first time one died, the other times I caught on quick.

Grind your crumbles down. If they are too big, they will look like they're eating but not be because the crumbles are too big. Then a few days later you start to have deaths and you don't know why.

Just keep that in mind.

i just ran into that. lost a hen. glad i caught on early. great advise !!
