I think Chicken0Boy can benefit from your experience. I just have runners, but if I recall correctly, C0B is thinking of mandarins and wood ducks. Do I have that right?

I'm confused. We will have to wait until C0B gets on to clear things up. For mandarins and wood ducks though you want pairs instead of 4 hens to one drake. However, if you have 4 pairs, you want maybe 8 nest boxes. Also, with that many pairs your aviary should be a minimum of 12'x12'.

Okay to clear things up, I want to get 2 pairs of wood , and 2 pairs of mandarins. How many nesting boxes do I need, and what is the minimum of space they need in thier avairy? Do I need a little Coop for em'? If so what should be its minimum? I have edited because I have changed my mind! Now I just want 2 wood duck pairs & 1 pair of
___________ (I am trying to choose a domestic breed) Any suggestions? Since that would be 6 ducks and they would be confined I am giving them 25 sqr. feet per duck. With that I will end up with 150 sqr. foot avairy. Will this be enough?

Your welcome, I'd rather help someone to see what they are getting in to then just letting them get these ornamental breeds without knowing too much, that could turn out very bad.
