Is it possible to improve tail placement and back length by adding serema genetics to my Japanese bantams? They are still young (4weeks ) but the carriage of the tail seems low and the back length of some seems longer than it should. They are hatchery stock but I'm wanting to work with the birds I have overtime to bring offspring closer to the SOP.

THIS IS NEGI ONE OF THE BOYS (I THINK ). HE'S A GRAY AND VERY SWEET.

IMO that would be a step back, unless your birds are also oversized. The carriage, back angle, etc are very different so you will introduce other things that need to be bred out.

Okay, thank you. I'll post pictures of my Chabo clan when I can. My black tailed whites carry their trails so much higher... But I know they are still young.
