in ground hoop house

Would it be a good idea to put a hoop house in the ground to help deteriorate predators???

When you say 'in the ground' I am assuming you mean the ends of the hoops? That isn't necessary. My first hoop run I used pressure treated 2x4's laid them flat and drilled holes to stick the PVC pipes into. Then I just extended the welded wire out on each side about 18" and staked it down with tent stakes. The next one I did I just drove tent stakes into the ground and slipped the PVC pipes down over them. Once you stake down the wire it's not going anywhere.

no i mean like dig a "trench" all the way around then arch cattle panels down in to it and cover it back in
