In Memory of Sam 11-05-2005 -- 09-22-2007

I am sorry for your loss I dont fully understand how something like a little chicken can leave such an impact on us either, maybe because they are simple little animals with such funny ways about them or they remind us of " the old days " but they do grow on you and when they are gone it leaves a hole in your heart and your coop.
I know how great banty roosters are my yard is protected by my little roo who thinks he is 10 feet tall and bullet proof.
I dont know what took your Sam but I am sure there was probely nothing you could have done to save him if it were a heart attack, I am so sorry for you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my roo earlier this month, and cried and cried also. We hadn't had him very long, but somehow all his silly antics made us adore him.

I, also, blame myself. That makes it so much harder. In the end, though, Fate decides.

He sounds like such a great roo. Is there a picture here somewhere of him?

Oh no, I am soooo very sorry for your loss. Please dont blame yourself. I know it hurts....when we lost Ollie...our first roo....I cried for days....evey time I went outside...expecting to see him...I cried.
We all understand...you can vent here anytime. :aww

So sorry for your loss. You have me in tears, too. It's great to have a place like this to come to. Hope you find a way to heal your heart. Cheer up.
