Hi there would like some advice on fattening show chicken. My son has a show coming up in 5 weeks, we are currently feeding Purina feed. I've read all sorts of things to do; to make them pick up weight including adding different types of things to the feed. I'm not looking for a miracle just something good old fashioned and works. Hope someone out here can help us. This is our first show.

The normal advice seems to be to give higher protein feed and a little oil in the feed for sheen.
