I am looking for a schedlue of what most people do in the spring to protect their poultry. I know that some people de-worm, and others give shots or put stuff in water for parasites and diseases etc.
I just wanted to know what people use and how often and where you buy it. I am pretty new to this and want to make sure I do the right thing for the different seasons. Thanks

The only thing I do is give the coop a good cleaning every spring. I do the deep litter method, and every spring I clean the coop out, wipe down all the walls, and mix a lot of DE into the fresh litter.

How much is "a lot"???

If I had to guess I would say about 1 to 2 cups. Probably much more than needed, but ducks are messy little buggers.

Gosh... what do you do with the other 49lbs? I haven't been able to find DE is bags smaller than 50 lbs. Hope it has a long shelf life
