In spring when do coturnix quail start laying again?

I don't do lights during winter so in at the beginning of November all but one of my seven quail stopped laying. When do they start laying again in the spring? I'm getting pretty impatient at this point. There haven't been any food changes or stressors, they look great, and are very spoiled. I'd like to buy some more eggs so I could add to the hens and have a rooster or two but if they aren't even laying I won't be able to breed them anyway

I don't do lights either.

Mine were starting to lay about 2 weeks ago. Then tornado came thru and flipped their cage. I got my first egg from them today. First day heard my roo crow.

They are outside in a rabbit hutch conversion.

2 roos to 9 hens.

Hoping mine get back in sync within the next couple weeks.

On another note my chickens just got started couple weeks ago. 6 of my dozen turkeys hens are laying. Still waiting on the others.

Each will start in their own time.

I'd if it would work for quail. But several people here feed some crushed red pepper to chickens to spur them into laying.

I've supplemented cat food as a treat and it seemed to help them some.
