In the emergency of a natural disaster where do you move your chickens?

Pics
Hi everyone. My family and I just got back from a bushfire meeting, the fire will Be here possibly by Thursday. We are moving my horse to a safer location tomorrow possibly depending on if they have room or not which should free up more space. It’s really frightening, the wind is against us at the moment, I have had to cancel my friend coming over on the weekend due to terrible conditions and for safety reasons. This fire is just going everywhere! They aren’t trying to stop it anymore, it’s just to big to contain. My heart aches for the wild life. I’m getting cardboard boxes tomorrow ready for my chickens with their babies as I don’t think they will all fit in the dog crate. This fire is unlike any they have ever seen before. I have to be extremely diligent with getting out before roads close. This fire is almost in the valley behind my grandparents house. They aren’t saying we will definitely get embers down here but they are saying there’s a high chance.
I will keep you posted.

Seeing how fast places went from alert to, too late to leave yesterday, I'd have my birds and pets penned up and be taking them to a friends. Our weathers very upredictable right now. Hope you are okay at the minute
The difficulty with moving everyone is that all my friends are at risk too. The people who may be taking the horse are a horse stud and don’t have facilities for chickens and other pets. Plus they aren’t super close friends of ours.
