Hello I'm trying to find out if the first chickens to hatch in the incubator disturb the unhatched chickens when they are bouncing around and trying to stabilize themselves. I use a fifty egg incubator and at most I get thirty eggs so the new chicks have lots of room to move and they seem to bump the other eggs around a lot, will this reduce my success rate or does it not matter to the unhatched eggs to be rocked and bumped. thank you

sometimes they do.sometimes they don't.depends on the chicks

just watch them when they hatch. if they are still damp and disturbing the unhatched eggs quickly and I do mean quickly open the bator and put the chick in the brooder.
