So maybe I'll put Eggo in first thing in the morning. That's up to you. It should be ok either way. They can survive off of the newly absorbed yolk for up to 72 hours but I rarely wait longer than 24 hours.

Unfortunately I read this after I put him/her in. Very loud. I just don't know how long Eggo would've had to wait for someone else, because there's no more internal pips yet.I like to move them to the brooder in groups of at least 2,
1 chick in the brooder will be very noisy.
The brylcreem look of gunk dried chicks can be removed with a soft dry toothbrush and/or very gentle preening with human fingertips.
You could always put it back into the bator.Unfortunately I read this after I put him/her in. Very loud. I just don't know how long Eggo would've had to wait for someone else, because there's no more internal pips yet.
Oh, ok! Thanks.
I’m ok with the noise, if it’s not bad for the chickYou could always put it back into the bator.
Well, being in distress is not good.I’m ok with the noise, if it’s not bad for the chick
When it was in the incubator it was kinda doing the same thing while knocking into all the other eggs.Well, being in distress is not good.
Not sure if putting it back will help or not.
A mirror and/or stuffed animal to cuddle with can help to comfort a single chick.

A rolled up sock makes for a very quick 'stuffed animal'.When it was in the incubator it was kinda doing the same thing while knocking into all the other eggs.
I’ll fine a mirror, and hopefully a stuffed animal.
Thanks!
