Yes! Young, but not too young.Wow! She is young!!![]()
Cool! Is she big? She reminds me of a Pyrenees mix. I’m thinking 10-15 years!Yes! Young, but not too young.
She is 73lbs. How long do you think she will live if I keep her healthy?
I have fostered almost 1000 dogs in the last 21 years for rescues and specialize in traumatized and terrified dogs. Many of them have separation anxiety. DO NOT TAKE HER OFF HER MEDS TO COME HOME! Dogs with Separation Anxiety are at their worst in new situations! Keep her on them for the first 6 months while you bond and she learns to trust you. Without them, there's almost 100% chance she'll freak out and get away from you or destroy something when you leave her. I've fostered the worst of the worst SA dogs and have trained them out of it, bit we ALWAYS send them home for the first 6 mos on their meds, and we have a very high success rate!Better have her taken off now to see her unmedicated/unsurpressed behaviour before bringing her home.
It would be very sad if you had to return her because you did not see her real self before making the important decision to make her a family member.
Wishing you and her the best!
