in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

My husband was at the kitchen table paying bills and she wanted to help...and it involved a sharpie.
Yes, a sharpie. a permanent marker.

The neighbor boys are having fun with 'Super-Biskit! Dog of dough."
They think she's "Cute."
aww, she is cute. Love me a Golden. Now you can see how long...or fast...she sheds. :D

Here's my girl now. Missy..

The chickens come up and hang with her on the back porch. I clean that window, she
nose slimes it again.

I have to ask..is that toy by your dog her toy? My first Golden had to have a toy..he would suck on that thing..we would call them all..even the new ones, his stinky binky, because he liked having something in his mouth all of the time. Went through a lot of toys with that big boy. Here he is. Grizz.. Showing off my Goldens' today..all because of your cute photos.

My second Golden...Toby...

I am wondering if I should get another Golden once Missy is gone..that will not be for
a while. I might be too old to keep up with a big dog. I have two small ones indoors.

First, yes. You must always have a big dog. Always.
I love your pictures!

Second, yes, that is' Bear'. I put bear in the crate with her when we first got her.
Bear was the same size and I hoped it would keep her company at night. Bear is her bestest friend.
Bear is not a toy though, he gets pulled out of her toy box and carried around with her until she settles down for the night.

Every time my husband goes to buy dog food, he gets her another squeaker toy. She has a big basked full.
Each one has a different pitch so she pulls them out one at a time gives them a few squeaks and then settles on the days preferred squeaker toy.

I have never had a dog enjoy toys so much.
They've been big tennis ball nuts, but not toys.

At night it is like when we had a little boy... I pick up a dozen toys and put them in the basket.
I love it.

She has been the most fun ever.
That is why you must always have a golden retriever, because you should always have fun.

It is wearing off, here is today's shot. There is just a little left.

Oh baby wipes might work
That is what I was thinking, glycerin is in that line between oil and alcohol, so it may.

Oh and he did not get into trouble for doing it for a couple days- until I finally asked, "You did use a water base marker didn't you?"
By then, It is like punishing a dog for a crime done hours ago. I just gave him 'the look' and sighed.
