in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

I made two batches. They're pretty simple but really good.

We use home grown potatoes.

I smear vegetable oil so it coats the bottom of whatever tray I put them on. Tonight was a couple of cake pans.

Sprinkle to taste with pepper, seasoning salt, salt lightly, add q pinch parsley and oregano ( ground is preferred ), criss cross ranch dressing over potatoes.

Cook 300 until crisp ( about ten minutes ).

Cover in cheese and serve!

We usually cook hog or buffalo with it. It sides well with corn and black beans. You could also take away the seasoning salt and add sugar, gives it a really sweet flavor. Not for everyone. I have tons of potato recipes.

Thanks for sharing that. Yumm! I'm a slave for anything potato.

yeah steering wheel column - looks like jumper cable holding it in place ?????
Nope, its going threw a factory plate that holds it. The wires are part of the blinker assembly. Early on the blinkers were an accessory that bolted on to the outside of the column an the wires ran down the side of the column. That changed in the early 1950s I think.

That's a 1946 Chevy truck by the way.

Know why I posted that one>my eyeballs saw it like the steering wheel was in the middle of the car..in the middle, not all the way over to the left side. Maybe it's ok..I don't know!

Me neither but I just always hope my ignorance is forgiven so that has nothing to do with the picture, lol.

Me either, but still..what's up with that photo. Maybe nothing. I take it the steering wheel is where it belongs?
