Day 16 (3/22)

• 12:12 AM – 8:00 AM:
- Overnight stability was excellent. The temperature averaged 99.5°F with humidity holding steady around 48–50%.

• 10:30 AM:
- I opened the incubator to candle Sylvie, Groot, Mantis, Strange, and Kamaria. I added 1/16 cup of water at this time.
- All these were developing chicks, discarded one that was a quitter

• 10:52 AM:
- Humidity dropped to 24.6% while the lid was open for candling.

• 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM:
- Temperature dropped briefly to 96.8°F during the candling window but recovered quickly once the lid was replaced.

• 12:00 PM – 5:45 PM:
- Humidity began a slow, natural decline throughout the afternoon as the water evaporated.

• 5:52 PM:
- I added a second "splash" of water to stabilize the levels for the evening.

• 8:13 PM:
- Temperature: 99.7°F
- Humidity: 49.1%
