in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

Goldens are very expressive. They have great smiles.
Mine never seems to know what she is doing with her lips and has some goofy hilarious expressions that she doesn't even know she is doing.
My dog book says that goldens were a cross between a blood hound and a Russian circus dog.
I believe the circus dog part.

Thank you!

And yes, Goldens can get what I call..the dorkin lip! My first Golden did it a lot, because he had the large big head, with big jowls. His jowls would get stuck in a funny manner. I would say...dorkin lip. He finally caught on what I was talking about after me fixing it a few times while saying it. So, then he started to fix it himself when I would say...dorkin lip!

My second Golden. Soo sweet, willing to please. He is the one that died at the age of 4 after having a very strange accident in the back yard. It was awful. When I talked about it in my Utah thread, there was a lady that came on from Idaho, because we had so many folks right on the border that were exchanging chickens and eggs. Anyway, she is an artist. When she heard about this, she asked me to pick out my favorite photo, and she would draw it for me. I have it hanging on our bedroom wall. Sorry ... I know some of you have seen this..but what a sweet thing to do. I just love BYC friends. I received a gift from someone on here just recently....wow, can't tell you how that makes you feel when someone says, this made me think of you and had to get it! wow..just wow. I use it often!

Here is the photo I choose.

Here is what she drew for me.

That is wonderful!
BYC people are good eggs.
