in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

We have neighbors whose chiwawawawas leak out and ravage the neighborhood.
The neighbor kids will run to our house and enter our fenced yard to protect themselves from the ankle-biters.
I have three LARGE dogs. So I ask,"Aren't you afraid my big dog will bite? They have teeth too"
And the kids always say, "But they don't have needle teeth.'
Our fear of needles trumps our fear of big bad dogs.
..with squeeker toys in their mouths.

A large part of that fear, is the worry of how it will look, if they punt the Chihuahua to the next county and someone sees it.!

My pet pev is people who own pit bulls that walk them around without leashes. When you're trying to walk your dog. They always say the same thing,"He's a nice pit bull, He'd never bite anyone. He loves other dogs!" :rant To which I reply, "Not yet, he hasn't but he will! So if he bites my Great Dane, you're going to have problems with me!"

I always reply, "But can you trust my dog?"
"If my dog lunges for your dog and there is a fight, Wouldn't it be nice if you had some way to pull your dog away? because I can pull mine away, but yours will be attached to my dog. You will have to reach into the fray for it's collar -where are the biting is happening- and you will get bit."

And then, I realize that I can't do all the thinking for all the non thinkers and just hurry home with my dog.

That's why I have a horse lead, it's long and whip like. If they do get too close, I whip them with it. But the owners don't appreciate me hitting their dog with it. TOUGH! Asheron is my baby.

Around here, people walk them on chains. @@ I don't know what they are trying to portray. Their dog is so vicious, he can't be controlled by anything less, (then why have him at a festival?) or it makes the owner look tough. Who knows.
