I spent a good five minutes trying to hunt down an awful noise. I could not figure out what contraption in our house was making such a racket. It wasn't the dishwasher, or the washing machine, or the ceiling fans... finally I found the direction of the noise and followed it to the puppy.

Apparently it was something pretty bad, she's not back yet!

So much noise from such a small dog. She had fallen asleep between the tub and the toilet in the hall bathroom, the acoustics made the noise sound like it was coming from everywhere in the house but there.
She is bigger now but still falls asleep there. She is the same color as the tile, and sometimes in the middle of the night we'll hear our son yell "Darn it dog! You scared the pee out of me."

If I have to be awoken in the middle of the night by a scream, it at least makes me laugh.

Have you ever met a person who is just so genuinely funny and they have no clue that they are? This dog is that way. She is hilarious. I have a happy funny family -at least the ones I kept are- so we laugh a lot anyway, but she cracks us all up all the time.

laughter is good medicine.

Oh yeah! and that's what makes the world a little better to handle for us all...."it takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown".....smile it doesn't cause so many wrinkles......

Here are some photos from the first week of June. Rainbow River State Park. It used to be a Phosphate mining operation long ago, and they turned the pits into falls. They pump water from the springs up to the falls. It is very pretty. I was going in and out of the shade so they seem washed out. I still have not figured my camera out yet.
