in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

I thought the same thing about the poo on a couple of them. I am thinking, if they can afford, to build a coop like that..they have someone cleaning it ...every day. Yep.

If I already posted this...sorry...not..it's so cute.

Bet those of you that have hatched, have seen it many a time. These are silkies, was candling, and all of a sudden, this one smashes it's little foot and toes right up against the shell. I could see all 5 toes. Hurried to get the camera, but by then, it had relaxed, and just saw the three..still cute. :)

Oh wow......that is amazing....reminds me of when my friend was pregnant and her son pushed his foot against her belly from inside and you could see the perfect foot he had.....

This is one of the creepiest looking chickens I've ever seen...it's a naked neck x guinea:

Punk chicken.

When my boy was little, about three, he came outside where we were grilling and said, "I need some thug."
'Thug?"
"You do fire works with it"
"OH! punk."

Punks and thugs.

He did not get the punk -or the case gun powder, just in case you are wondering.

imagine how his mother felt. From what I've read guin-hens do not live very long. There was one that had quite a fan club (I belonged) and the op had a great way with words . We figured it was a boy but, before it died, it laid an egg. It was not a deliberate breeding of the two.

Then several people decided it was cool and started to intentionally breed them. It was sad that they were just curious and didn't care that the progeny would have a short life.
