I've been wondering- anyone know how KristyHall is doing? She hasn't posted here in two months. She always posted beautiful, interesting photos.

I thought I read somewhere here that she/they were expecting ? don't quote me on that .......for some reason that's what I recall ?? Sorry Kristy if I'm wrong

I for one haven't been around here much thanks to a vacation and then 6 days in we had a family emergency where my Grandmother passed away, so we've been doing all that arrangements and now helping care for grandpa. Got away for a while last night with my Best friend For some fun at an outdoor Country concert, Called Country USA. Of all of the over 300 pictures I took, these are probably my favorites.

Rachel Lipsky, the opener of the day. She sang some of her original songs, and covered a few others.

Here she was singing a Gary Allan Song called "Bones". Which.. I like the song Bones..

Tim Foust(?) of the band Home free, an A Capella group. They won the Sing off on NBC in season 4. I mean it SOUNDS like there were drums and guitars, but it was ALL VOCAL.. They really blew me away. They did some covers and parodies and some original songs of their own.

Lead singer from the Band Parmalee. I really like their song "Musta Had a Good Time" so It was Cool to see them!!

My sympathies to you and your family....I'm sure it was a break to get away and just let the stress melt off a little....

In January we drove through KS to see my son and stopped at the visitor's center off the highway. They were passing out free packages of sunflower seeds (the KS state flower) and I planted a bunch of them when we got home. Some of them reached over 10' tall. This is a photo I took early one morning while the moon was still faintly visible in the sky:

An a picture with proof that goats work. I dont have enough for more than the back yard though an clearly need to borrow a bush hog....

Yes they do..... in a township somewhere near here they put goats to work on the weeds, mostly poison ivy......
