Oh, I'd google it.

It is so interesting, it looks like an alum but the petals look like fours or fives so it is not a lily.
There are so many things that can grow up north that we can not grow without chilling. I would love to grow peonies and anemones.

I thought we could grow certain types of peonies, at least around here? Check this out: https://crickethillgarden.wordpress.com/2013/01/17/growing-peonies-in-usda-zones-8-and-9/

I'd love to be able to grow them too, one of my favorite flowers. Have you tried them?

I wish I could remember the name , not sure what they are called

I am looking for the name , normally I leave the plastic identifying names beside the plants , some names are just to much of a tongue twister ...lol...
3goodeggs........I don't know if it's so much a factor off chilling ? a dormancy period where the seed /root etc has a break in a way is required , but even in your area there is a change in weather that allows plants that break ...........I'd try it , plant and see ? I'm willing to bet that they would grow ....I started a persimmon and have planted it outside ........so far it's growing , I'll move it for the winter , but am hoping to acclimatize it

A persimmon sounds interesting. Hope it does well for you!
