During the cold winters, the Alaskan Wood Frog becomes a frog-shaped block of ice. It stops breathing, and its heart stops beating. When Spring arrives the frog thaws and returns to normal Life. Amazing!

That is so neat but, do predators realize it is a frozen dinner?

Kind of like our garter snakes here , freeze during the winter , but there body goes into protection mood , the heart is kept protected by some sort of antifreeze , Have found them on land when they didn't make it to there holes .........almost froozen till you warm them up .................then they go
