I thought it was a garter snake. I don't suppose you know anything that loves to eat wasps and yellow jackets? I try not to harm bees.

Oh, Cynthia! What a darling little Babe. I too love those tiny feet. But I'm fascinated by their hands.

Elemes never saw one with a blue tail- not that I would stay around to look. Is that rare or something?

Nope not rare here, they like old wood and water/humidity -which we have an abundance of here in WV. The juveniles have the bright blue tails and are very pretty, actually.

I also have a wasp problem - as in I think my house is The Spot for several different types. I'd love to introduce a predator to keep their population under control.
