I have waited and waited on this EE to lay. I almost sold her. Glad I didn't. She's an OE! I love love the color that she laid. No speckles..now if it will just stay the same. Even when it lightens up a bit, pretty egg!
Pasha you are also a very smart person. You start with a small amount of animals to see if you like it first. Many people here start out and get many animals and are overwhelmed and unhappy. They want things too soon and don't learn about them first.
That huge pig is scary though - must take a very, very strong pen to keep him confined. He could do a lot of damage if he got loose.

Had a hen once that laid blue eggs , couldn't get myself to eat them , couldn't sell them ? guess everyone is used to brown and white ? lovely color though
Unfortunately everything is pasted into the pages of two huge scrapbooks, each weighing over 20 pounds. I need to find out a reasonable way to preserve everything. The archival articles are still in good shape, but the paper they are glued to is disintegrating, and the bindings have crumbled. Some incredible original documents... they are archives from about 1891 to 1910 the general secretary of the Journeymen Stonecutters Association, the oldest union in the country (and now possibly the smallest).
