Midge

Love doggies - Midge is a doll

Thank you, she's my girl. I took her in only a week after I had to put another dog down. I couldn't let her go to the pound even though I really didn't want another dog yet. I'm so glad I did though. She is my constant companion no matter where or what time.

When my son visited my sister years ago, I asked him what NM was like. He said it was like death." He hates hot weather almost as much as I do. I know she has to cover the dashboard of her car because sun/heat fries everything.
Edit to add, yeah it was 104 here yesterday and above 100 all last week!
Haha parts of it are! Parts of it are beautiful, I live in a small town full of trees, temperate climate so we can grow a wide variety if trees and plants, lots of roses, farm lots of things, yet walk a little way and be in a beautiful desert, the kind filled with life not a barren one. Then drive 40 miles and be in mountains with gorgeous pine forests, oh I could go on and on. Just like Texas has a wide variety of different types of land, dry and barren and lush and green, etc, so do we in n.m
As for the roadrunners, well, i have mixed feelings about them....when I was a teenager our baby chicks kept disappearing, finally we saw what was happening when a road runner ran by with a little chick in his rotten beak! Never could look at them the same...

My experiment )) I'm just wondering if the wheat will grow here or not. Soil is a mixture of clay, goose dung and sand. If it works out, then I'll plant it here all the time, and then open it so that the geese can eat it.
