I majored in photography in college, and took a couple of classes in the dye transfer process. (With David Rathbun, if you've heard of him. With David Rathbun, even if you've never heard of him.)

The process is VERY involved, but the results are worth it.

Geez, I miss actual silver halide prints, either BW or color. I never did any platinum work -- college student budget. Digital, to me, is... just different.

I told a photographer friend of mine, "I miss grain...." He knew what I meant.
