I know the difference if they were in a different river. You know these things when you grow up swimming in a strip mine pit full of alligators.

At one time I could not stand these reptiles, I thought why they were needed at all, they only do that they swim and eat everyone. But then I accidentally watched a report on how a crocodile touchingly transfers its small offspring from a drying puddle to a larger reservoir so that they do not die - and my disgust for them disappeared. I even began to like them somehow, although if I lived next door to them, I would not climb into the river to them
