Solved Inapropate avatars

I've been noticing that a few members have avatars that are inappropriate for younger members. I know it's not those members fault, they just don't realize that younger members may look at their avatars

I also prefer avatars that are pictures of chickens, dogs, fish, etc. Not humans.

Agreed, the halloween theme just gets some weird stuff going.

Well, some nice fall pictures are nice. Such as pumpkins, leaves, etc. And a few of the more "scary" ones are ok, too.

Anyway, that's not exactly what I was talking about, but still, it's another thing to consider. BYC should have a thread about this.

I have not yet seen any inappropriate avatars on BYC (I’m glad for it to) but I have seen some posts including language, and words that may not be appropriate to be seen/used by some users- just mild ones, but I am afraid that maybe a young child, may go on one of those fun Random Ramblings threads, see those words, and begin to use them- I wouldn’t want parents to think badly of us, so please restrain to language that is appropriate for all ages (namely children 8-12) just because you never know who is reading your posts.

This is not a ridiculous observation on the part of the OP. If our members find inappropriate content or avatars, they need to be reported.

Exactly, there are good ones, but sometimes the members down think about the younger members. No one fault, but it just happens. I have been trying to get some good fall picture for a halloween themed avatar for me!
