inconsistant brest size

I got 6 baby chicks the 2nd of May, on a few of the them one side of their breast is larger than the other is that normal? Why would this be. They seem very normal and healthy. Thanks for any help, Chicken Gambo

I think what you're seeing is a full crop, which is totally normal. It'll go down once the food moves further into the digestion process.

Glad you could join us here! I have to agree that what you are describing is a full crop. It can look rather alarming when first seen but really is nothing to worry. Your chicks sound strong and healthy and good eaters too!

Yes, that's the crop. I can see where it would be alarming. Kinda looks like goiter in humans.
