I think I'd try it first on a batch of eggs at home. Collect a number of eggs, pre-warm and then cool half of them, mark them clearly, and put them in the fridge. Or even just put them on a room-temp shelf while waiting to incubate. Set the whole bunch, pre-warmed and non-pre-warmed, all clearly marked, and see what hatches.
Then, if that looked promising, send a bunch of eggs to somebody, half having been pre-warmed, then cooled, (and again, clearly marked) and see what hatches for them. I'd want to be sure I send eggs to an experienced hatcher who normally has good hatch rates.
