Incubating a shell less egg?

The Japanese have been incubating eggs with no shell, so it could be possible.

It's completely amazing how they've done this!

I say it won't work but if you try it then I suggest very high humidity because I was collecting shelless eggs in a bowl and in less than a week they turned into egg raisins ... shriveled up and dry.

All right people, the egg already smells like decaying cauliflower. I think I better call this experiment early. I don’t want to risk the rest of the eggs. Sorry bought it but there are just too many things working against this.

Good call, I'd do the same thing. Isn't worth it.

It was worth a try , you caught a bad odor early and ended it. good call.

I incubated an egg with a misformed shell (it was hard but very very porous) and it did indeed die around day 7 or so. Gross. The shell definitely does a very important job!
