Incubating a shell less egg?

All right people, the egg already smells like decaying cauliflower. I think I better call this experiment early. I don’t want to risk the rest of the eggs. Sorry bought it but there are just too many things working against this.

Good call, I'd do the same thing. Isn't worth it.
 
I incubated an egg with a misformed shell (it was hard but very very porous) and it did indeed die around day 7 or so. Gross. The shell definitely does a very important job!
