Incubating African geese eggs

I just got my eggs in mail, now this is probably silly question, but do you let them sit for 24 hours before starting to allow them to settle? Also, do you put them pointy end down or up in the Incubator? Sorry new to incubating geese!

I can't help much since i don't use a bator but this is the guide most on here use for hatching goose eggs.
