Has anyone ever hatched Cornish crosses?

I haven't. The cost of hatching eggs is as much or more than live chicks. And alot more risky

Yeah, I looked up hatching eggs and they are really expensive. That's why I would hatch silikes. They're a rare breed and I could sell the roosters I got for more than other breeds. I'm only allowed to have one rooster where I live.

I eat the extra roosters. And the mean ones.

I like the look of the silkies, but we get a lot of rain around here andi think they would be miserable

I've never seen a wet silkie. Lol! Yeah, my relatives eat all of their mean roosters.

There is a thriving Asian community where the dark meat could possibly have a market

I let the extras run amok until I can't stand it anymore. Then I get them a bus ticket to camp

I'm going to start collecting blue and olive eggs this week for another hatch.
