Incubating and hatching eggs chat thread!!

41 eggs went into the incubator last night! My husband sheepishly came up to me and asked if it was weird that when he woke up he immediately went to check to see if there were any chicks yet . We are just a little bit excited for them!

Wow!! So eggciting!! What breed are you hatching?

We ended up with 15 marans, 8 D'anvers, 9 frizzles, and 9 Sebrights!

I was just thinking about the bobs. The worst case scenario wouldn't be 0% hatch,it would be if ONLY 1 hatchedl. Pretty much anything other than a trio forces me to order more eggs

I'd probably get them from ebay. Someone who is close to me on ebay. So they wouldn't be as damaged when shipped

I unfortunately have very independent silkies who only come for the bribes of mealworms. But their little personalities are adorable to watch around the yard!
