I use Purina Startena. It has 30% protein and I start mixing it with my game bird crumble as they get older. The game bird crumble is what they get as adults.I have another question, what should you feed a button quail chick? I have only had adults. And how gradually would you transition to adult feed?
Thank you, but I'm in an area where there is like zero Purina feedsI use Purina Startena. It has 30% protein and I start mixing it with my game bird crumble as they get older. The game bird crumble is what they get as adults.
Look for turkey or game bird starter. You're looking for something that is at least 28% protein. I had to have my local feed store special order the Purina Startena, so you might see if yours will do the same.Thank you, but I'm in an area where there is like zero Purina feeds
Would there be anything else I could use?
