How to incubate button quail?
Turning the eggs? Temp? Humidity? hatch time? Lockdown?
:barnie

I NEED HELP! THANKS! :D

The answer is, pretty much exactly the same as chickens except they hatch sooner. Temp 99.5, they need to be turned like chickens, I would do humidity at around 45%, they lock down on day 13 and hatch on day 16.

thank you! I'm thinking of buying from a breeder in louisiana who's been recommended as one of the best places to get button quail. she ships the eggs. can I trust that the eggs arrive safely?

Shipped eggs are a gamble; you never know how it's going to turn out. You might get 50% of them to hatch, which is about average, none of them might hatch, or all of them might hatch, you just don't know. Shipping can be hard on them and render them nonviable.
