I didn't have luck with candle wax, but I have had luck with nail polish. Apply a few coats over and around the crack. That should do the trick.

As far as positioning during incubation, I incubated like normal (not air sac up) and have had good hatches.

Ok thank you, I have already put wax on so I guess we will see, the air sacs are so large and such weird shapes that who knows what will happen with the eggs, they must have really really shaken in the post as the packaging was good
