I have 9 surprise chicken eggs i got from my husbands grandpa so i dont knkw the breeds they are dark brown light brown green blue and one white one. Im very new to incubating and using a jenaeil 12 and have the temp on 99.3 and humidity at around 60% i candled my eggs and can see 8 of the 9 have air sacks im worried that my humidity might be too high and im just reading and finding that out that it should be around 50% do you think i might of messed the eggs up in any way will they still hatch or what? Maybe someone else has done the same and had a successful hatch?

Not sure, I don't keep humidity high until lock down, there is usually a hatch along every month with people that do hatch out a lot, there are so many variables due to where your at, difference between point of lay and where your incubating them. Righ now it's a little late to be worrying about much as your close to lockdown. But will tag someone that really knows their stuff when it comes to hatching, @SallySunshine

Are the air sacs around the right size they should be for day 17? If they're close to the same size, I wouldn't worry. Plus all you can do now is wait and see what happens, since you're pretty close to the end.

I've incubated eggs quite a few times now and I know for a fact the first time I was very confused and using a cheap incubator and I still had a fairly successful hatch. It's a learning process, and I think it's something you get better at with experience. With that being said, I wouldn't worry too much as long as the air cells look good.

I wish you the best of luck. Please keep us updated. :)

I wouldn't worry about it too much. This far along, there's not much you can do to change humidity. If your air cell is the right size, or close, you're likely to be okay. I've had some with some pretty weird air cells and been concerned too, but they've turned out fine.

I found this graphic to help you see about how the air cell should be looking. The image is from this pinterest. (I don't want to steal, not sure how to give proper credit)

You need to make sure you have a higher humidity for the actual hatch so the babies don't get shrink-wrapped though.

I have seen some that say raise humidity last three days to above 65, but i have had chicks hatch out early with the humidity at 60 so i leave mine at 60 for the full 21 days and have had no issues. what i have seen is if the humidity gets to high chicks pip but never get out. so for me anyway i try to keep it at 60
