Incubating different aged eggs HELP

i just put eggs in my bator today and i am supposed to b getting more on thurs or fri. will i be able to put both in the bator considering on the last three days u cant open the bator to turn and the last three days for the first set will b 2 early for the second?

has anyone tried doing this before? any ideas?

Not that Im super experienced or anything, but arent you only going to have it open long enough to put the eggs in anyway?

Are todays eggs the second batch? I'm confused (but thats real easy)

I incubate all my eggs in the same bator, but usually Hatch in a different bator. Or I have done this in the past. with 3 days left I take out the turner remove the eggs that are on day 18 (If they are chickens) Remove the racks from where those eggs were, then put the turner back into the bator, and the eggs in the bator where the racks previously were, that way the newer eggs can keep turning the last 3 days. You just have to be sure you turn off the turner when you see the first pip, that way the chicks don't get injured by the turner.

Does that make sence? I had a hard time explaining.

I stagger hatches all of the time, bad habit probably but never had a problem. When it comes time, put the hatching eggs to the back of the incubator and the others toward the front. You can open the incubator long enough to turn the ones needed. Good luck

I have eggs due on the 7th, 9th, 14th, 15th, etc.

today is the first batch and i have to open the bator to turn the eggs evryday however in a few weeks the first batch will be almost done and then ur not supposed to open it, but the second batch will need to be turned at this time too. i know it is confusing

You can open it long enough to turn your eggs. I do it all the time and having very successful hatches, except for shipped eggs.

Everyone does things different and if you truly believe you should not open the incubator, when I am letting you know it is okay for a minute or two, it is your choice and you then just do not turn your eggs. But not turning them could cause them to stick to the shell. It is your choice, but again, it is okay to open the incubator for a couple minutes that is why I move the ones needing to be turned to the front.

Good Luck, just remember to put the eggs you are turning to the front where you can open and close quickly. Put the ones getting ready to hatch and on the last 3 days to the back.
