Incubating double yolk eggs

Hi lovely people!

I’m doing a research project on double yolk eggs and their hatchability and I’d love to hear about some experiences people here have had hatching twins!
I’m aware of the issue of the cramped space so I’ve been coming up with a solution to that problem.

Also, the only hatchery in my area that has a decent supply of double yolkers happens to be a Muscovy duck hatchery so I’ll be doing the experiment with them. Anyone ever try hatching twin ducks?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences, both good and bad!

I tried to incubate a double yolker, one started to develop but quit after about 7 days

I hatched twins and didn't even know it was a double Yolk till I had more Chicks than shells in my incubator..

Barnyard crosses. Two Brahma/Amerucana and Orpington.

I don't have a thread, but they are due to hatch Feb 14th (how cute is that). They are white crested black Polish over Gold Laced Polish. Or White frizzled Polish over smooth Tolbunts. I hadn't separated them out yet.
