Incubating duck eggs!!!/ hatch along for any bird

It could possibly be yolk from another egg. I would give it till day 7 and candle if there is a live embryo, I see no problem.

It looks like the rest of them do

I have 7 duck eggs under a broody silkie, 6 duck eggs in a bator on day 6 and a muscovy hen that has disappeared but shows up at the house twice a day. I have looked but havent found her nest yet.

Happen to come home tonight and muscovy hen was out eating. Waited and watched her go back to her nest under the shed. Is it easy to move a duck or just to let her hatch them there? I worry about me cats getting the ducklings.

I think they'll be fine there. I've never had problems with my cats and duckling so/chicks. The mama is always very protective

Candled all my eggs tonight! Day 19 for the duck eggs and day 12 fro the chicken! Everything looks alright! The air sac goes up, right? And the pointy side down. Right? *crossing fingers*
Cause that's how I have it.

I turned the incubator up to 7x the first week daily, 4x the second week daily, and now I'm doing 3x daily.
I read somewhere that if you turn them up to 7x daily the first week it increases hatch rate. I hope that's true.
When I'm turning, do I turn the whole thing forward one "section" and then the next time backwards two "sections" so it's not regularly flat, but one back? Or just turn one section at a time each time? Sorry if that's really confusing. I don't know what else ti call it. It's an Octagon, btw

Tomorrow is day 25. (I have duck eggs) That's lockdown, correct? If so, then I'll turn tonight, then tomorrow morning I'll turn so it's at the normal position. Then I should take the bars out, fill channels and wait? And once some hatch (if they hatch) I should wait up to 24 hours before moving them to brooder?

So today is day 3 of incubating 6 pekin duck eggs. My first time trying to hatch my own, now I know that pins and needles feeling of excitement people talk about on here.

Humidity went down to 40% last night and today is lockdown. That's ok, right? I'll boost it up today

Hi everyone this is my first time incubating a duck egg I had one out of 5 take. Its a pekin and its 26th day is this Wednesday. Any tips or ideas on hatching?
