CuIf your eggs have been in the refrigerator can you still put in an incubator for hatching? If not what is maximum wait time?

I have some Silkie eggs cooking in my incubator that I had put in the fridge. I set 7 and 3 have developed and are doing well. The other 4 were clear, so I'm guessing they weren't fertile to begin with. The general rule of thumb is they can be held for 7 days before being set. Store them in a cool, humid place and turn them at least 3x's a day. I've had 2 week old eggs hatch though, and there's an entire thread about people hatching eggs from Trader Joes...

So, just go to the market..and there is a possibility of some eggs developing when set?

Wait, would make sense .. someone said whole food? Like at a health food store?

You want to make sure you get fertile eggs. They'll be marked fertile on the box....
