Incubating eggs...Anyone want to join me

Deeps, you will do just great as long as you get the humidity & temp right. Good Luck on your hatch.

I used an old picture frame, a 1"wooden dowel and some screws. I screwed the frame to the dowel, cut the dowel first to fit inside of incubator, then used tops off of bottles to sit the dowel on, i then put a screw thru the outside and i use a screwdriver to turn it. Does that make sense!!

you can see the piece of wood that I thought would work but i have to use a screwdriver to turn it

Put the Pheasant eggs in the incubator today along with some chicken eggs.

I found it on Craigslist. I bought 2, sold one and kept one. It's an older modified GQF Sportsman 1202. I have had several successful hatches in it. Now I'm looking for a hatcher.

It had a wafer but we bought a digital incubator thermomstat from GQF. The digital thermostat does keep the temp steadier than the wafer did.

WOW,Looks as if we both have the same temp & humidity. of what I see. After the guy helped me hook this wafer up and I set it.It hasn't moved since then except when I turn the ac down in the house cause it's so hot outside. But other than that I just can't go wrong. Like that 1 commercial says (set it and forget it).I'm just waiting to see my grandsons eyes when they see a chicken hatch from an egg since they have never seen it before.Well they might not wanna eat it.And they might say I'm not eatin a a egg again.

I just candled 3 of my eggs and the white one I could see a little dot in it but the green eggs I couldn't see any thing but a tiny air bubble at the top.So may I ask in the green eggs when should I be able to notice anything happening?
