Candled today, Day 10, 3 blood rings, 7 nothings??? don't see any veins but bloody pool? and 3 for sures, so am keeping the 7??? and of course the 3 for sures , opened up the 3 blood rings

Day 14, candled and there are only 3

out of 14!!! 4 had blood rings on day 7 the rest were not fertile because there is NOTHING in them. did receive 32 lavender orp eggs and have built a new bator for these, wasn't expecting them till July 5th!! and did not want to stagger the hatch !
Anyone else out there still incubating??? How are your eggs coming along??

Wyogirl, still got eggs in incubator but don't know if I'll have anything after yesterday.Grandkids turned heat up on thermostat and I didn't know & don't know how long it was up.So just leaving them in there to see what comes out. But I'm building a bigger incubator.

i did a final candle last night; out of my 4 remaining eggs, look like one dies around day 8 - 10. the other three look fine. only 6 days to go - hope all goes well from here on out. got the video cam ready to go for next weekend.

Well This is day 18 for me. I have a question. I put the eggs in 6 am. June 10. Do I take the eggs out of the turner this morning or wait til tonight? Do they hatch on day 21 or is it just pips starting then? I'm not sure any are still alive. I candled day 15 and just saw some black shadows. I don't know if I was supposed to see red veins or what. I was using a flashlight so don't know if that wasn't strong enough. Some eggs I could see all the way through so assume they weren't fertile. I'm kind of bummed since I'm really beginning to think I won't get anything to hatch. When should I expect pips?
Please I need advice.

Wyogirl, I'm using a little styrofoam cooler right now but will be building my other incubator out of Plywood or I'll be building one out of and old fridge.Which ever comes first.
