Incubating Eggs for Balut?

I'm a texture person (it's pretty bad sometimes), so Balut would be a no go for me personally. But I agree that it's probably really nutritious. Like how sprouted grains are better than seeds
I think I am too..my first experience with tofu. My dad watched me intently that shoulda been a sign. I was eating plain tofu not fried. I gagged right off the bat. He thought it was hysterical. Fast forward to now and I know how to make it the way I like it. Crispy, fried, cut in little pieces. It is awesome 😁

This is an enormously interesting thread! Thanks to everyone for inputs. Balut is an underutilized poultry product in in the US for numerous reasons. Poultry is much more sustainable than many other protein production systems. I encourage everyone to continue discussing the topic. jmho

Freshly laid eggs have the same nutritional value as a day old chicks or Balut for that matter.

Yeah a lot of people have an emotional issue with day old or balut. But it would be a great use for day old cockerels at hatcheries 😂
