True! This will be my first venture with shipped eggs. I think they are coming from California so I hope they have smooth travels.

LOL...I am from Calif. and I just had eggs shipped from South Carolina!!! Never have used shipped eggs either, so hoping all goes well

Got my eggs in the trunk. My tracking on shipped eggs is saying they won't b here until Monday. The up side to that is my chubby won't b home so he won't know.

LOL...my shipped eggs are here!!!!! One broke

but the rest are in good shape! Letting them settle from the ride and hopefully I can put them under my broody by Monday

Did the one broke one ooze on any others? I sure am glad you only lost one...how many were in the order, and what kind?

They were wrapped really well so the one that broke stayed pretty contained and did not get on any of the other eggs. I had 6 Bantam Cochin eggs shipped(my broody is a Black Bantam Cochin) so we are working with 5 now. My girl has been going broody on and off since April so I am letting her be a momma now
