If I incubate my eggs will the hen from the incubator be able to hatch her own eggs later on

If you incubate your eggs in an incubator will a hen that hatches be able to go broody and hatch her own eggs? Yes! It depends on the breed of course, some hens are more prone to broodiness than others, but whether she hatched from an egg in an incubator or under a mama hen does not affect whether she can become a mother herself.

When the time comes, if she is ready to hatch an egg herself, she will try, it does not matter is she was incubated or not. Most hatchery chicks are incubated and quite a number of them go on to become good mothers. Good luck with your chicks
