Incubating in my bra: An experiment.

I think this thread is awesome! Waiiting to see what happens.

We have a family story during the 30's (depression) someone stole the brooody hen from the coop. A Great Aunt and Great Grandma found the unattended eggs and put them in their bras. Even made egg pockets in the bra. Between the 2 of them all the eggs hatched. I didn't believe it until I saw the writing in an old journal. Oh this was in Wisconsin Minnesta border duuring dead of winter too. So dern colld.

So you go girl! I wanna know how things turnout!!!!

You know, a lot of our family histories used to be passed down by word of mouth. These stories would tell of how the family itself (not the country) would survive the hard times. It is a shame that so many of them are gone, but at least there is hope with people thinking out of the box with something like this.

Yes it is a shame how my grandkids cant walk as much as a mile to the store and when I was young we would walk several miles and pick up the returnable bottles so when we got to the store we could get a soda or something else

Great thread! I was curious and placed four standard cochin eggs in my bra Sunday to keep while I wait on smy Brinsea incubator to arrive....should be here Thursday! I find sleeping with them quite a challenge.

Can't wait to see how this birthing experiment turns out. Best of luck!

Just came across this thread, and after reading the title and all the posts I am joining in to see if these two eggs hatch! I sure hope they do! Way cool!!! :D

eta I have the Stromberg book too, very interesting to see how the chinese hatched eggs a hundred years ago!
