I put mine on a heating pad on low (in a safe place since I have cats) sandwiched between two washcloths.
Y'all all bring up great points and whether or not we succeed we'll maybe learn something along the way, if nothing else about the kind of people we are.
I for one definitely think that it is possible though there are some difficulties that will likely need to be overcome to ensure success, specifically the motion issue. I gave myself a good laugh yesterday thinking about ways to mitigate that...the first thing that came to mind was to slip the egg into a water wiggler with some gauze on either end to keep it from sliding out, then placing said device intra la dƩcolletage. But if you're worried about appearances that sure as heck isn't gonna help!
If it doesn't work out though, I wouldn't feel bad. Eggs in incubators fail all the time, especially ones that come through the mail. Sometimes we can figure out why, sometimes we can't. And sometimes an egg isn't even fertile. But we can continue to have our fun, and I think that one day, one of us (maybe even me this time, though I ain't betting anything on it since I'm inexperienced and my first attempts at things don't have the greatest record of success
hahahahaaaaaa... ;-;) will bring some little peep into the world with nothing but our ingenuity and a healthy dose of tiddy heat.
